The Horizon Hill Top Villa

An amazing place to stay! The rooms were spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The pool was clean with plenty of seating options. The Sri Lankan food the chef cooked was absolutely delicious and the host was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is peaceful and perfect- situated on a hill away from the hustle and bustle of Unawatuna, but only a short walk away from Dalawella beach where you can see huge sea turtles! Monkeys even came to visit our balcony which was a great experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and wished we could stay longer. The Sri Lankan breakfast served on our balcony was a highlight.

There are a lot of mosquitos in the area due to the property being surrounded by jungle so we did get bitten a lot when eating in the restaurant and sitting round the pool. This is to be expected though. The hotel provided mosquito nets for the beds. The views more than made up for it.

A Turtle beach 15 perc gyalog, de tuktukkal olcsón bármelyik másik közeli partra el lehet jutni (Unawatuna,Jungle beach) Nagyon kellemes hetet töltöttünk itt két gyerekkel.

Amazing property, great view, courteous staff, little off beat, but with its own charm. You will surely like the property.

Peaceful hideaway surrounded by nature with outstanding hospitality. I arrived early in the morning and was already able to get my room. The hotel is located in a very quiet and beautiful area, surrounded by lush greenery and a real jungle atmosphere. The elevated position offers a view of the ocean, perfect for guests looking to relax and disconnect. Wildlife is part of the experience, with occasional visits from monkeys and other animals, which adds to the charm. The staff, led by manager Nimesh, were exceptionally friendly, helpful and always smiling. I felt supported with every request. Also a mention goes to the chef Sandaruwan and the rest of the staff: the food was excellent throughout the stay, everyone always friendly and helpful. The Sri Lankan breakfast was a highlight as well as the seafood. I would 100% recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

O quarto inicial dado não fechava as janelas, existindo uma abertura onde entrava mosquitos e outros bichos. A cortina para isolar a claridade também não corria. Solicitamos ao hotel ajuda que prontamente nos mudaram de quarto. Fomos para um quarto com casa de banho ao ar livre, o que para nós não foi agradável. Éramos ferrados por mosquitos constantemente ao tomar banho e na segunda noite, chovia e tivemos de tomar banho lá assim. O colchão não devia estar limpo porque sentíamos nos ferrados durante a noite e não encontrávamos nada no quarto que o justificasse.

Il manager Alimesh molto professionale, gentile e disponibile per tutto. La colazione, principalmente salata ma su richiesta anche dolce, cucinata dallo chef Sandarawan molto buona. Struttura accogliente, stanze molto grandi, immersi nella natura.

The property gives a perfect chance to relax and connect with nature. While it is close to the beach side, it is far enough from the noise and crowd. Nimesh is really supportive in organising the transport, advising on places worth visiting. Chef cooks delicious local food. The whole experience was beyond my expectations.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Amazing scenery (especially the pool), excellent room and bathroom. Thanks to manager Nimesh and the lovely food of chef Thilak.
