The Horizon Hill Top Villa

Felt like home. Palidhar and his team were brilliant helped us fulfill every single need.

Fantastic view from the balcony, could spend all day there – real jungle vibes. Lovely breakfast every morning and the staff was helpful with their suggestions. During the way, whenever we asked for something (like water bottles) we got it quickly, the staff was very helpful and nice.

Maybe more toilet paper is needed for a week stay, but when we asked for it, we got it. The wi-fi was not working very well (we got the password, but works for one device only). Would be nice to have more fresh juices available.

Lovely stay, beautiful room and well secluded location. We got our own house which was a very pleasant surprise och the ”outside bathroom” was very nice. Good shower pressure!

As the bathroom was outside and the ceiling of the bathroom was hen net/wire net, we had quite a few mosquitoes which ruined the experience of the bathroom a bit. Adding a mosquito net on top of the ceiling should not be a hard to do. My girlfriend got a back and shoulder massage but in was unfortunately not got.

It is a nice quite place if you want to relax and do not plan to go and see anything else. Staff is hospitable. Great pool with jungle view.

Lots of lizards and other "nature" on territory, who like to get to your room. The hotel is located on a hill, as you could understand from its name, and it is very inconvenient. All tuk-tuk drivers will refuse to drive you up to entry, and you have to climb up and down by yourself everytime.

The room was great! The hot tub was unique and really the star of the room making it very enjoyable, the layout of the room and bathroom made it quite nice to stay more than. The Sri Lanka breakfast was really delicious and the bedding was clean and comfy.

Spiders. There's a long walk from the lobby to the room which is unavoidable and has a bunch of stairs. Some tuk tuks don't like going up the hill, and drop you off at the bottom of it and you have to hike up with your stuff when this happens... which is kind of unpleasant. The pool had a bunch of fallen leaves (cause it was raining) that took too long to clean up, so we never got a chance to test out the pool.

Cute, lonely villa in the jungle with one of the most amazing pools ever! The micro-location of the pool and the vibe is excellent, best sun-beds we had in Sri Lanka with comfiest cushions. Shower in the room is also cool, room is spacious and there is a mosquito net over the bed. Amazing breakfast with curry if you order traditional breakfast.

A bit neglected rooms with some visible mold and there are plenty of little animals like ants, grasshoppers and other bugs in the room, even in the bed. Bathroom is also a bit neglected.
