Liepupe Manor

Great, peaceful manor with rose garden & reindeer garden in the territory. As a guest you can use swimming pool & sauna, there are also Ērenpreiss Bicycles for the guests. The beach is about 5 km away. Breakfast is served in the beautifully renovated kitchen. If the weather is good you can enjoy your breakfast in the manors terrace facing the rose garden.

The menu had very poor vegetarian meal options & there were no non-alcoholic prosecco, vines or even a beer.

We liked the location and the property, the vibe and overall atmosphere was excellent, garden was beautiful. Breakfast was great, on the pricy side, but you definitely have choice and definitely can get your share of food for good start of the day, quality of the food was good as well. There is small deer enclosure right in the property and surrounding the enclosure was magical lake, it did really look something right from Disney fairy tales. Attitude and reception was great as well, it was nice balance between elegant and humane, at no point it felt posh and at no point we felt that is overexaggerated.

Diner was okey, I definitely would appreciate some improvements in the food, dont get me wrong it was good, just not worth the money it did cost, stake was on the raw side specially when no one asked how I would like it, sauces that came with food was somewhat bland and quite generic, same with veggies, no imagination put into the food, gelato was good, but could use a bit more air, it was basically generic ice-cream. For that money I would suggest near restaurant Sidrabiņš which will give you imaginative food and a good tase of Latvian cuisine. There was wedding reception happening, altho it did not bother us and we at no point heard anything from our room, it would be appreciated if things like that are communicated before arrival, its 21st century, phones and whatsup are on every mobile device :) worst case scenario sms. Location is in very rural place, there is basically nothing to observe apart from few lakes and fields of grass around it, nothing you can do about it, just plan ahead and take into account that property is pretty much only place you will enjoy there, but if you plan to get away from everything and just relax, this is amazing place to do it.

When I booked nobody said that there will be concert which was for additional cost, and there was no possibility to have dinner out because of that. Restaurant menu is poor and bed in our room was SO HARD. I thought I am sleeping on the floor.. after it I had couple days problems with my back.

Beautiful building with history and a lovely garden and pool area. Room was very spacious and bathroom new and large.

Location is lovely out in the country, but it is very out of the way, with nowhere to go from there without getting in the car. The room could use a fan to help with air flow. Also, no screens on windows meant there were mosquitos that came in during the night since we had to leave the windows open for air.
