We had a perfect stay at this apartment in Triq Karmnu, Għargħur. The location could not be better – right in the heart of the town, overlooking the main square. By sheer luck, we arrived during Għargħur’s 3-day festival, and it was an unforgettable experience. The streets were lively and cheerful, with music, parades, and fireworks from early morning until after midnight. At the same time, once the festivities were over, the town returned to l peaceful rhythm, and we enjoyed wonderfully quiet nights for the rest of our stay. The apartment itself is newly refurbished, very clean, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. The highlight was definitely the balcony, offering a perfect view of the square – especially during the celebrations. It felt like having a front-row seat to the town’s biggest event. During our stay, there was one situation when the owner arrived with an inspector, but since it was not announced beforehand, I didn’t feel comfortable allowing them in. I do feel a bit bad about that, and I hope the owner understands – otherwise, everything about the communication and hospitality was great. Another huge plus is the location: Għargħur is very central, and within 20 minutes by car you can reach almost all of Malta’s main attractions and beaches. It’s a perfect base for exploring the island while enjoying the charm of a traditional Maltese village. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a mix of authentic local atmosphere, comfort, and convenience!

Cups glasses and the one tablespoon dirty. No other cutlery or plates etc.

Frühstück war nicht inbegriffen.Die Erdgeschoss Suite (die sagen First Floor aber es ist auf Strassenebene) ist gar nicht zu empfehlen.Es riecht modrig,das Bad hat Schimmelflecken und man riecht Abwassergerueche,die aus dem Schacht kommen.Als ich mich beschwerte,hat man mir eine Suite im 1. Stock (sie sagen 2.Floor)angeboten für 50 Euro Pro Nacht extra. Etwas übertrieben,meiner Meinung nach aber ich akzeptierte. Hier roch es besser wenigstens und alles funktionierte von Klimaanlage bis Wasserkocher.Man kann im Erdgeschoss sehr gut frühstücken aber ‚Berta‘ gehört nicht zum Bed and breakfast und man muss extra bezahlen.

Dass das Frühstück nicht inbegriffen ist und dass man nur auf WhatsApp kommuniziert hat.

Que no cambien las toallas , lo hacen cada cuatro días

La posizione è eccellente, e sopratutto all’esterno, la struttura è bellissima. Vicino ad una magnifica chiesa. Nota positiva anche per il bar BERTA adibito anche a ristorante che è incredibile e super consigliato.

La struttura è molto carina ad accogliente ma non è particolarmente pulita. Abbiamo anche trovato diverse formiche al nostro arrivo, il giorno dopo hanno subito provveduto a mettere il veleno.
