Hotel Las Golondrinas

This is a truly special place - filled with light and colour, elegant paintings and pottery, wonderful flowers and plants. Spacious rooms with high ceilings, a very civilised ambience. And the staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming - it was a delight to stay at Las Golondrinas, and we cannot recommend it too highly. It's very conveniently located for all the major sites, and parking is easy in the surrounding streets. A real find

It is on quite a busy road - but the noise doesn't get into the hotel, and it's very convenient for all the major sites. The showers take some delicate adjustment and patience, but the whole place has a charm which transcends such practicalities!

Pas de coffre fort, pas de frigo, des serviettes rêches et des draps de qualité très basique. La réceptionniste ne se met pas en 4 pour vous aider.

Charming older property with murals and a jungle of plants -many in the fabulous pots of Dolores Parras. Colorful, rooms are individually decoated. Quieter than one would think! Our bed was sleepable for an older bed. The pillows were flat out uncomfortable. Lighting could be better inside. The pocket patio for our little courtyard of rooms let us sit outside in locally made chairs. The staff were patient, kind and helpful! Cafe was adequate for breakfast innut within doors are better places on the same street. I recommend getting out and eating everywhere you can!! Diet before Oaxaca if you need to! We would go back to Hotel Las Golondrinas.

Breakfast could have been lots better. Get new beds and pillows. Even if it is one room every two months.

Breakfasts were very good and reasonable priced. They were served in a beautiful courtyard under bougainvillea and lush plantings.

There was nothing to not like.
