My favorite hotel in Oaxaca which has kept its’ magical local charm for decades. Gorgeous plants, pottery including many by Dolores Porras, and fun colorful rooms and exteriors. This property is the real deal and I hope they never change or capitulate to entitled expectations. I love that it’s been in the family for three caring and kind generations.

The gardens are stunning and the room was very spacious and comfortable. It’s in a location that was quiet but still walking distance to everything. Staff were friendly and kind, plus they had an adorable dog. I would 100% stay here again!

Die Anlage hat einen schön begrünten Innenhof und ist relativ nah zum eigentlichen Zentrum.

Es gab kein Frühstücksangebot, da das Personal fehlte. Das Zimmer war sehr Dunkel, in keinem Fall wie es die Bilder suggeriert haben. Außerdem ist die Ausstattung sehr rudimentär. Wir haben das Zimmer dann getauscht. Diese was ebenso wie das Bad deutlich kleiner. Dennoch mussten wir dafür einen Aufpreis bezahlen — für eine Klimaanlage, die wir gar nicht gebraucht und genutzt haben. Es ist richtig, was in anderen Kommentaren steht, dass das Personal sehr freundlich war. Nach unserer Erfahrung sind das die Menschen in Mexiko aber generell.

Le bâtiment même de l'hôtel est très joli, avec tous ses patios fleuris et ses décorations. On se sent à l'écart du bruit de la ville, c'est très paisible !

Le petit-déjeuner, bien que très bon, nous a semblé un petit peu cher.
