El lugar es perfecto para pasear por la zona (Malinalco, Ixtapan de la sal, etc), los dueños y el personal proporcionan un servicio excelente, todo está cuidado hasta el más mínimo detalle, perfectamente limpio, el desayuno está delicioso, el hotel está hermoso y lo RECOMIENDO AMPLIAMENTE, yo regresaré próximamente, creo es uno de los mejores hoteles en el cual me he hospedado.

This was my third stay at El Portón, and it continues to be a wonderful experience every time. The property is immaculate, charming, and beautifully maintained. The rooms are perfect—especially the incredibly comfortable mattresses—and I loved the artisanal soaps in the bathroom, such a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was excellent, clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. The gardens are also stunning and add so much to the peaceful atmosphere. What truly makes this place special, though, is the warmth and friendliness of the owners and staff—it’s always a pleasure to be here. Already looking forward to my next visit—hasta la próxima!

Absolutamente todo. Las habitaciones, las camas, las frasadas, el concepto, la increíble manera de tratarnos con tanta amabilidad, los jardines, el exquisito desayuno. En un comentario salió que era el cumpleaños de mi madre y le fueron a traer un presente. De verdad que hermoso trato

No hay nada que no me haya gustado

Our stay at El Portón was likely one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Due to flight delays we ended up arriving to the hotel much later in the evening than expected and they had no problem accommodating us for a later check in. The owners and the staff were all so kind and attentive throughout our entire stay. We felt so taken care of and valued. The owners also gave us great suggestions for places to visit and dine at around town during our time in Tenancingo. Our rooms were the perfect size for us and had everything we needed! They were so clean and were even cleaned daily as we were out on our adventures! The location was perfect for my family and I as it was close to our relatives living in the area. We definitely felt safe and secure during our stay. We absolutely enjoyed our experience with this hotel and will definitely be staying here again next time we are in Tenancingo! We highly recommend the El Portón hotel!

Excelente atencion por parte de los dueños y del personal. Muy amables y atentos.

Circe, Peter, Elida, Lourdes, and the rest of their amazing staff spared no expense going above-and-beyond to make sure that our stay was extraordinary. From the moment we arrived we were treated very warmly. Though we should have given 24 hour notice for laundry service they accommodated us anyhow. The rooms, beds, and showers were comfortable with everything we needed. A fan was supplied upon request. Water was provided. Room service was attentive and prompt. A small breakfast with fruit, oatmeal, sandwiches, juice coffee, and tea were prepared for us every morning by Circe. In addition to the aforementioned we can't say enough good things about Peter, who accompanied us to town, introduced us to some amazing people, and brought us to a quaint home cafe for an early dinner. He is very knowledgeable and has an excellent sense of humor. We strongly recommend staying here when in Tenancingo. We'll be back and will miss them while gone.
