Kandy IVY Banks Holiday Resort

Maybe the best attentive, careful, friendly and welcoming host I ever had! We felt like at home! Book this resort for your stay in Kandy and you gonna be fully satisfied with your choice!

the owner was very nice and helpful, and the room was clean.

in the yard the neighbor's dogs were barking and sniffing. we didn't feel comfortable.,

The water pressure in shower was very weak

Friendly helpful staff. Large rooms with balcony and great views. The rooms and upstairs and shared living room area is clean enough but downstairs the reception and stairs need a deep clean. Breakfast was good and very generous and is served on the patio at the rear of the building. On the third morning we asked to eat upstairs in the shared space as there are so many monkeys trying to sneak up and grab the food on the patio. A member of staff needs to be present to chase them away which is not overly relaxing. The hotel arranged onward transport for us at a great price with a friendly driver. The location is great and despite a few housekeeping issues it is still a great value hotel.

It's well located and the Sri Lanka breakfast was great. But the communication with the staff was hard and the room was not great: a lot of mosquitoes, no ventilation in the bathroom, almost no light and blinking lamps. I think we got the worst room.

Awesome location , just a short walk uphill from the lake, next to Raddison hotel. Very spacious, clean room with a big lounge. Breakfast had a choice betn English and Srilankan and was delicious. Ample Parking space is avl . Very nice cafes and restaurants near by. Tuk tuks know the location of the resort well.

Friendly staff but the Hotel did not reflect photos. Sheets were dirty, room and bathroom were also dirty. The place was really run down.
