Caleta Tankah

Location was perfect. Right on the beach with a beach club a short walk from the rooms. A short drive through the jungle to reach the hotel. Very secluded and private yet 5 mins from town. Quiet and peaceful. The beach club did not have a lot of visitors. Small cenote on the grounds as well. Restaurant in the beach club but with so much in town to try we never ate there. Rooms are very large.

The rooms aren't perfect. Seems as if remodeling was started but not completed or done poorly. Bathroom looked freshly painted but the ceiling paint was peeling. Also missing some tiles in the bathroom window but the grout looked new and clean. For the location and price we didn't mind and would stay again. Pool was a little dirty and the outside bathroom/shower area was not kept clean. Honestly think very few staff and just no one to maintain this area.

Der Naturstrand ist schön anzusehen, aber wegen Wellen/Sog nicht zum Baden geeignet. Im durch Felsen eingerahmten kleinen Becken kann man schwimmen.

Die Häuser, in denen die Wohnungen sind, wurden seit mind. 20 Jahren nicht mehr renoviert/saniert. Völlig abgewohnt! Die Rezeption und eine Bar im Nebengebäude sind nur bis 16 Uhr besetzt. Danach ist kein Personal mehr Vorort. Es gibt keinen Kiosk. Man kann nirgends etwas zu essen oder zu trinken kaufen. Die „Küche“ besteht aus einer Spüle, einer kleinen Kaffeemaschine und 3 Tassen, 1 Glas und 1 Löffel! Da ist weder vernünftig essen noch kochen möglich! Das einzige Restaurant an der Straße gegenüber des Hoteleinganges ist Preiskategorie €€€€€!!! (Ein Hauptgang beginnt bei €70!) Tulum ist 5km entfernt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis des Hotels ist pure Abzocke!

La caleta realmente es inmejorable. Lo mejor del lugar. El servicio termina a las 4 pm diariamente, por lo que se muere el sitio a esa hora. Espléndida vista al mar desde las habitaciones.

El sitio es solitario después de las 4 pm ya que no hay servicio de restaurante-bar. El área de piscina está solitario (supongo que por lo mismo). No hay microondas en las habitaciones, se desearía contar con ese servicio.

The location is amazing, right in front of the sea. The Cenote is mind blowing. My 5 year old loved it. Very old style hotel. Really liked it. Rooms are huge. The bathroom was huge too.

Some enforcement on the no sunscreen allowed when entering the Cenote would be good to have. The pool needs some maintenance. More water for drinking would be nice instead of 2 small bottles for the 1st night.

Si es un lugar muy tranquilo especialmente para descansar y disfrutar del mar.

The location is nice because you can enjoy the seaview but everything else was horrible!

The facilities are at really poor condition, it might have been modern or welcoming couple of years ago but now everything is shaggy. The pool was dirty. The cenote wasn’t suitable for swimming even though it was promised in the information. Beach was extremely dirty, just full of rubish. No wifi. We didn’t have electricity for 2-3 hours in the evening, nobody informed us in advance, apoligized to us or even offered any information about that. We went to the reception but nobody was there. It’s impossible to get help or any info. Restaurant or snack bar doesn’t work. They do not care about customers at all.

- Nous avions reservé la grande chambre (47m² quelque chose comme ça) et au final nous avons eu une chambre de 25m². Lorsque nous l'avons dit à la reception le monsieur nous a dit que suite à des soucis (toit cassé) la chambre n'était pas disponible. Aucun remboursement ou autre n'a éte proposé. D'ailleurs il y a 4 - 5 complexes, je doute que tous avaient leurs toits abîmés.............. Je n'ai pas aimé que l'Hotel ne nous a rien dit, on aurait juste aimé être prévenu le soir de notre arrivé et non avoir l'info le jour du départ... - Personnel très peu disponible. La réception n'est jamais ouverte et c'est seulement le dernier jour que l'on a vu quelqu'un. - pas de sèche cheveux
