The Best Hotel in Male, Maldives We had an amazing experience in Manhattan Business Hotel in Male, Maldives. The location is very convenient and close to many key areas. We spent 5-nights and experienced very warm welcome plus excellent guest service from the management, front desk and restaurant staff. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Staff always very polite and attentive! Special thanks go to Mr. Rijil KP, Assistant Hotel Manager, who was so kind to us, and Ms. Thana, Receptionist.

We stayed here as a stop-over before heading to The Maldives so it was close enough to the airport and comfortable enough to refresh for a night sleep. The airport transfers were included in the price and in luxury vehicles. The drivers were very helpful. The balcony room was very spacious with seating, bench space, wardrobe and all amenities that we needed. The staff were exceptional; friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and adequate.

This is minor but I like hotels to do away with the attached-to-the-wall hairdryer and provide a powerful handheld type.

Under recommendation, I tried to book the room through their website. However, this it very deceptive. I'm not sure if this is just pure incompetence of hotel management or if they're out to rip-off customers, but their pricing is totally screwed up. Luckily I made the reservation using Booking.com -> that's a more sure way of doing business with these guys. Overall the hotel deco is rather kitsch and the rooms are starting to show signs of wear & tear. Is the Manhattan Business Hotel 3-Star? They should be .... however they're charging 4-Start prices.
