"Highly Recommended Place to Stay In Tapalpa"

Hotel Posada Real is a gem in the Centro of Tapalpa. I stayed with my elderly parents, and we had neighboring rooms; a queen and a queen plus a single, for a great price at Christmas. The hotel is 2+ very long blocks to the Plaza (9 min walking) and Tapalpa is the cutest Pueblo Magic I've seen, out of about 16 - maybe San Cristóbal de las Casas ties, but very different. The hotel is extremely clean, cute, well decorated, looks classy with tiles and equipale chairs in the main area, pretty patio, spacious rooms, instant coffee set up at all times, and responsive staff. There's a large, dedicated parking lot just 30m down the street, however it's only locked at night. Both Charlotte during the day and the night staff were extremely helpful with recommendations, letting us check in early, letting me come home late, etc. A long review for a great place! I'd definitely recommend Hotel Posada Real.

The heater in my room didn't do much, but I had a large window to the street, which is understandable. It's only cold for a short time in the winter, where night temps can dip to the high 40's or low 50's. My parents wanted to watch tv late at night and could only find Spanish language tv. They live in Mexico and I don't feel bad for that.

"It was all great!"

The place is beautiful and well cleaned. The staff is amazing and helpful. Boiling water was very welcome on those cold days. The fact that they give you drinkable water is a great touch.

The bed was really stiff, although not too much that made it impossible to sleep. Our bedside tables seemed to have drawers but didn't.

La ubicación y el trato amable del personal, además todas las instalaciones estaban muy limpias y cómodas, a sólo dos cuadras del centro caminando, además había café gratis y tenia una vista bonita se veia el atardecer😊😊😊
