CASA CAT BA Beachfront Boutique Hotel

The boutique hotel could not have been more amazing! RIGHT on the beach (I'm talking 3 steps). The all-female staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating for me and made me feel very safe as a solo traveller. The hotel was beautifully decorated and the rooms have everything you need including a handy beach bag which came in handy! With only 6 rooms, there was a homely, relaxed feel. There a loungers to hang out on all day. I felt very safe leaving my things here while I went on the beach. The location is great and can walk everywhere you're looking to go (you can walk all of Holbox really) and had no problems walking at night - would 1000000% recommend this stay and will be back!

Bigger beach area

The staff is super welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was delicious, the location walking distance to many places. Super comfy and clean room with beautiful views. Very dog friendly! They cooked breakfast for our dog and watched him while we were out 🤍

Only thing missing were hammocks!

Beautiful small and quiet boutique hotel, amazing room with balcony facing the ocean. Comfortable bed and outstanding cleanliness. Perfect location close in the downtown area and you can also walk, bike o take a taxi to Punta Mosquito where there is the most beatiful and peaciful beach

Pristine place run by women only, high ceiling gorgeously decorated room with sea view, cosy lobby, beautiful terrace with sun beds and tables to enjoy the fresh well prepared healthy and filling breakfast (the frijol was ouh lala) and observe the dolphins in the horizon or the ballet of birds fishing, very very confortable bed, caring attentive staff, nice location and walking towards punta Coco is easy and a delight with wild flamingos at the end

We enjoyed the fact that the hotel is small and the staff are so friendly. There are only 6 rooms and 6 staff members. Everyone took great care to make sure that our needs were met. Breakfast was homemade, filling, and delicious. We sipped cocktails from the private bar and terrace at sunset every night. The room was impeccably clean and beautiful, with a gorgeous sea view.

I was disappointed with the beach in front of our hotel. The tides had brought a great deal of sea grass (not sargassum, thank goodness). I know that they cannot control nature, but because the hotel is so close to the waterline, the stench wasn't easy to ignore. It also made wading out into the water impossible. We tried to make lemonade out of those lemons though and took long walks to both Punta Mosquito and Punta Coco. Casa Cat's location in the center of town made both walks very doable and convenient and each beach had it's own uniqueness. Also, a word on mosquitoes. They are no joke on this island. I'm sure less so when it isn't rainy season, but just be well aware and prepared for this.
