A beautifully maintained property. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great place to stay-over and a short walk from the centre.

Our room was on the first floor and had some noice when people used the microwave outside our room.

The hotel is a hidden gem. It is a bit of a walk up a hill away from the main centre of town (approx. 10 minutes), but that's its magic. The main road and the centre of town are loud and hectic on weekends, and come to life with construction trucks during the night. Being a bit away from the bustle is great. The room was fun and quirky. The water pressure was almost too strong, and the hot water was endless. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They let us store our bags for a few hours before check-in. The common areas are really pleasant.

As others have mentioned, the wifi can be a bit temperamental. It seemed to either slow down or drop out entirely sometimes, typically when you'd expect it to be under a heavy load (7pm-10pm).

The booking conditions seemed to be good (prize and paying at the arrival at the hotel), but the hotel changed the conditions out of the booking platform unilaterally (using whatsapp) which is not legal. We did not receive the message and cancelled our reservation. At the moment we arrived there they informed us about the cancellation.

The fact that the hotel was not that expensive for one night and that apparently we could pay directly on our arrival at the hotel, (being the arrival possible until 23:00 hrs) made me book this accommodation. In the moment of the reservation, I included in the message our arrival time to avoid issues with it. However the hotel not only did not respect the conditions they offered as they sent a message via Whatsapp (not even through Booking) to change unilaterally the booking conditions. They asked to make a transfer to a bank account which was included until a certain hour or they would cancel the reservation. As we did not receive the message because we were on our way, our booking was cancelled and we had to look for another hotel (at night with family). The receptionist had a very rude, unpolite, and disrespectful behaviour, did not offer any help at all and did not even accept to help us look for another accommodation. In the end, they called the police instead of calling the manager. The police were so kind, that they were the ones that looked for accommodation for us! Unbelievable!
