Location was downtown had a room with a balcony, excellent view! The king size bed was absolutely perfect & so comfortable, a/c was perfect, was very hot in Cordoba!

I had a few items go missing, have no proof who did it, didn't let housekeeping clean my room so no one entered without My Permission, I exchanged towels linens, garbage with housekeeping on the floor

Big old CITY HOTEL from another era ! rooms are just so so with large windows overlooking front and CATHEDRAL ...outdated orange and wood decor and plastic upholstery , after pushing furniture around to use as desk was much more enjoyable , lighting is harsh , but there is a table lamp with can be used to "wall wash" for soft lighting ....stairs are EXHAUSTING , hard and tiring ... staff is pleasant enough ...room was a little musty but better after an airing ,,beds are very soft and I enjoyed sleeping late with mounds of pillows ..sound proof modern glazed windows much appreciated ..just steps away from PORTALES ..took all my meals there GAVE COFFEE PACK comp. only on FIRST NIGHT ..rather chintzy ! OLD STYLE EURO BISRTRO off lobby very good , TYPICAL MEXICAN , every place in city serves same things at basically same prices !

CORDOVA was UNDERWHELMING , not a very pretty city , I should have stayed in ORIZABA , not much to do locally ...ZOCALO is nice , but the rest of the city is a warren of noisy busy commercial shopping districts with non descript buildings ( earthquake replacement of antique structures I was told ) ..would not go there again...food was good and ZOCALO is party central....NO FOREIGN TOURISTS
