Daugavkrasti Hotel

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times and keep coming back for good reasons. It’s a simple, comfortable place located right on the banks of the Daugava River, offering a lovely view. As a cyclist, I really appreciate that I can bring my bike into the room without any hassle. The bed is very comfortable, and there are plenty of power sockets conveniently located next to it — perfect for charging devices. The shower has strong water pressure, and on cooler days (even in summer), the bathroom heating was on, which is a real bonus if it’s been raining all day. The staff are always welcoming and helpful, which adds to the overall positive experience. Recommended, especially for cyclists, looking for comfort and convenience.

Very friendly stuff, spacious room, microwave access, face control - a big, nice and friendly cat :)

mattress- very old and noisy, wifi - weak, breakfast - for me very poor - no warm food choice if you don't like pancakes. All menu - cold boiled eggs, butter, 1 kind of ham, 1 kind of cheese, tomato, cucumber, 1 kind musli, bread, terrible coffee, and - ready? - 5 kinds of juice... Why? Come on, guys, is not difficult to offer for guests some kind of baked eggs, bacon, sausages and normal coffee (not brown water). By the way in Riga I know modern comfortable hotel with exemplary breakfast and rooms there are cheaper about 15-20% (incl. breakfast). This hotel is old, located in Jekabpils, in province. So, please, add more love to your service if you want be worth your price.

If you like hotels with a special atmosphere, go for this one.
