Located only a 10min walk away from the secluded Popoyo surf break, it’s a great place to stay for surfers. The rooms are clean, well presented, have air conditioning and hot water. The pool area is well maintained and a relaxing environment with hammocks surrounded by nice gardens. The restaurant serves good food for a reasonable price. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. You can hire surfboards and the staff assist with organising taxi drivers when required. We would definitely recommend staying at nicawaves.

There is not much else around and it is only accessible by dirt road. If you want to explore Popoyo town then hiring a car or motorbike is recommended because the town is a 15min drive away.

Beautiful property, friendly staff, great air conditioned room, excellent WiFi

We had a car so this was fine with us, but the main part of Popoyo would be a very long walk if you didn’t.
