Great food, incredible views, welcoming staff

The location isn't exact on the map shown by Booking.come - the hotel is actually located in the village of Aroumd, not Imlil. It's the next village up the mountain (30min uphill hike) or ask the taxi to take you to Aroumd.

Wrong information on booking description, not in Imllil center at all, dangerous road at night, 4 wheel drive is a must,

the host (Said) is extremely accomodating, he really went out of his way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. the location is a short walk from the national park Toubkal. As mentioned in previous reviews, this location is 45min walking (uphill) from Imlil center, but when you arrive in Imlil, simply call Roches Aremd and they will send a 4x4 to pick you up. I consider myself a reasonably good driver, but i would never drive there myself, even in a 4x4.

the only way of heating is fireplaces, so we had the appartment (3bedrooms) with 1 fireplace in the middle, the nights where very cold (january 2023). the rooms where simply not very clean, there was 1 hot shower right next to the toilet, so be prepared for some wet water fun. Entering the national park without a guide is prohibited since the 2019 debacle, but Roches Aremd can easily arrange that for you.

The staff (Mustafa!) here is amazing! So accommodating! The location is amazing (just 20 mins away from the Mt. Toubkal checkpoint). We stayed in the 3-bedroom apartment, which was comfortable and great value. It actually had 4 bedrooms, each with their own shower/toilet combo. Dinner and breakfast were amazing too- a delicious veggie tagine with bread and tea and Berber soup, and a large spread customary Moroccan breakfast with tea and coffee. If we do Mt. Toubkal again in the future, I would 100% stay here.

The only things that I could note for improvement include no toilet paper in the bathrooms (bring some with you!), and no locks on the bedroom doors, nor apartment front door (the main door of the building was locked, however).

The staff were friendly, the views were great, delicious and generous meals, nicely finished, hot showers.

From the maps the hotel seems to be in the centre of Imlil, however it is in another village called Aroumd, about a 45-minute trek uphill.
