Daen’s Greenhouse

Top lokatie, goede communicatie, brand en brandschoon, super design, comfortabel, hoge kwaliteit inrichting en afwerking, zeer ruime douche. Whats not to like?

Het is hartje centrum, oude ramen: dus hou rekening met geluid van de straat. Er liggen wel oordopjes op het nachtkastje 😉

Tamanho do quarto, facilidade para pegar a chave mesmo não tendo uma recepção, das comodidades de banheiro e café, chá. Tem uma varanda boa pra relaxar. Limpeza, cama confortavel, localização excelente.

De não ter elevador e as escadas são muito inclinadas e fiquei no terceiro andar.

O tamanho, o conforto da cama e a limpeza. A atendente muito simpática e atenciosa.

Einmal etwas anderes Zimmer auf zwei Etagen.

Die Treppen zum Zimmer sind ziemlich steil, ist nicht für jeden geeignet.

The location of the suite of apartments at Daen's is amazing - right in the heart of Utrecht's historic old town. The room I stayed in was fun - the design brought a smile to my face, the bed was comfortable, & it was good to have a little kitchenette space.

Two minor things, plus one major. Whilst is was good to have the kitchenette facilities, the fact that the kitchenette wasn't provided with things like cutlery sort of defeated the purpose. I was promised on my arrival that my linen would be changed during my stay - this didn't happen. The real issue, unfortunately, relates to the location of this particular room (Room 4). One whole wall is a large window plus door. It opens directly on to a street which is directly off a busy square with lots of late night opening bars/cafes. There is frequent late night - & very early morning - loud noise. What makes the noise so intrusive is the proximity of the 'outside' on to which the glass window & doors open - it feels at times as if the people making the noise are about to enter into the room. It's just overwhelmingly intrusive. If I had my time again, I would definitely have preferred to book one of the other 3 rooms - & if I were to go back to Utrecht, I'd certainly consider staying at Daen's if one of these rooms were available. But I definitely wouldn't want to stay in Room 4 again, sadly.

Very central to the hub of Utrecht Walking distance from the station Stayed in room 4 which had its own outside entrance which was great Spotlessly clean Not a very busy street but the isolation was good enough to keep most of the noise out. Overall a very enjoyable experience

Ruime kamer en centrale locatie. Heerlijk bed, prima douche.

Lawaaiig vanwege terrassen buiten. Mini waterkoker is onhandig.
