Galicia Nueva, castle hotel

Zámok a jeho okolie sú krásne udržiavané. S parkovaním nebol problém, aj keď bol hotel plne obsadený. Personál bol veľmi milý, ochotný a priateľský. Boli sme ubytovaní s dvoma psami. Na izbe bol nachystaný pelech a misky na vodu. Mohli sme sa so psami pohybovať po hoteli, reštaurácii aj okolí. Jedlo a drinky v reštaurácii boli výborné. Izba bola veľká s veľkou manželskou posteľou. Celé to malo skvelú atmosféru, cítili sme sa výborne.

Jediné, čo musím vytknúť, sú neodhlučnené izby od chodby. Cez dvere bolo počuť hlasy, chôdzu, búchanie dverí, výťah... Recepcia mi na vyžiadanie poskytla štuple do uší, čo pomohlo.

Pobyt bol krásny, personál je na 1* a veľmi spríjemňuje celkovú atmosféru. Gastronómia je výborná, dezerty perfektné. Pre mňa najkrajší zámok s ubytovaním.

Výhľad z okna na stavbu z bazéna sme nečakali, taktiež vírivka nefungovala a žiaľ hudba na chodbách neznela ako minulý rok. A mohol by sa v tak krásnom prostredí návštevníkmi/hosťami reštaurácie, dvorany dodržiavať dress code. Park oproti minulému roku bol menej upravený.

A truly unforgettable castle escape Staying at Galicia Nueva felt like stepping into another era — in the best possible way. The restored Renaissance-Baroque castle is genuinely breathtaking, perched above the village with sweeping views over the surrounding countryside. From the moment we drove up the hill and through the gates, we knew this stay would be something special.

Our room (castle apartment) was spacious, elegantly furnished, and full of character — the kind of place where you actually want to spend time, not just sleep. Every detail was thought through, from the bathrobes and slippers to the quality of the linens. It felt luxurious without ever feeling stiff or impersonal. The wellness area was a real highlight. After a long day of exploring, sinking into the pool and the sauna with that quiet castle atmosphere around you is something you don’t easily forget. The staff were warm, attentive, and clearly proud of the place they work in — nothing was ever too much trouble. Dinner in the restaurant deserves its own paragraph. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented, and the wine list more than did the region justice. Breakfast the next morning was equally lovely — fresh, varied, and unhurried. What I appreciated most, though, was the calm. No crowds, no noise, just history, nature, and genuine Slovak hospitality
