I made a touristic visit to Hong Kong, but could not return to China, because of visa problem and all my suitcase and stuff left at the hotel. The hotel personnel packaged everything and sent to my address in Hong Kong. I really appreciate their cooperation. Thank to them.

Stayed 4 hot nights in July. Old Soviet style hotel with a lot of character. Hotel is well located, about 10 minutes from central park. Smooth check-in. Friendly helpful staff. Large room with arm chairs and coffee tables. Beds OK and wifi good. Good supermaket just around the corner. Chisinau was interesting to see, even if it lacks 'must see' sites. National Museum and National Gallery are both nice buildings with interesting collections.

Staff were helpful but not all spoke English and we had to make some use of Google Translate. Not a big issue. My room got a LOT of sunshine and the vertical blinds did not work well so I got woken up very early. The room was also hot in the afternoon. Fortunately the AC was good. A fridge would have been handy.
