Amazing location, amazing facilities, and most of all incredibly helpful staff/owner who assisted me in making plans to get to/from urike in the lead up to my trip. Honestly wouldn’t have been able to have had the experience of Urique with their help!

Save your money and don't book here! If I could copy and post the text that this guy Francisco sent me, you would be blown away. He is extremely disrespectful and said some very hateful things to me. I never was able to stay here because Francisco, the hotel manager/owner (not sure which he is) contacted me well over a month after I made my reservation to ask me to cancel it!! He said it was double booked, and that he had a huge group coming, and he couldn't accommodate me, and if I wouldn't cancel it on my own that he would go ahead and just cancel it for me on booking. I couldn't believe it! I have never even heard of something like this happening. We had booked in advance, knowing that nothing would be available if we waited because we were there for the Caballo Blanco marathon and things fill up quick. I desperately looked for another room and literally zero was available anywhere. I reluctantly begged him to offer another solution since we had no other choice, and he finally said he could bump us to the hostel. So now instead of a hotel, we were going to have to share a room with people in a hostel but we were desperate. He offered no apology and also said that the price wouldn't be any different and that we should've paid triple for the hotel We were going to be staying in but he had forgotten to adjust the pricing online. I can't believe how unprofessional and unaccommodating this guy is. He is clearly out there for the money only and will do absolutely everything in his power to charge you for every last thing he can. I guess the best description for him would be a slimeball Money grubber. This may be a beautiful place-I don't know because my friend ended up missing her flight and we never were able to even make it there. Honestly, it was partially a relief not to support and be in the presence of such a dishonest person -

No! This guy is a gaslighting money grubber and offered no accommodation for bumping our reservation when literally nothing was available in the town - he didn't contact me till well over a month after the reservation Instead of offering an ounce of condolence when we were unable to make the hostal reservation that he bumped us to he sent a condescending pretentious message. We had also booked a private transportation with him, but after his horrible messages-I didn't feel comfortable getting a ride with him at all and asked if he could at least refund the money that we had paid for the private ride cause at that point I wasn't even sure we would get picked up. (and I was letting him know. Way ahead of time too. )He then sent me hateful messages. I am so relieved that I was never around him in the end. I will show pictures of his messages
