Beds can be larger

The best hotel to stay in Becici, Budva. Family, wonderful people who care about the hotel and you. Clean, well organized, with guest care in mind, a woman checked our room every single day while we were not in there. Special thanks for the breakfast, homemade cuisine with a large selection of delicious meals. If we come back to Montenegro we will definitely stay there, there is no better place than Stella di Mare.

Everything was great

The beach is 5-6 mins walk downhill and then uphill for coming back. Breakfast was good. Parking available.

The only major issue was air condition was not working. It was more hot in the room than the balcony outside. We could not sleep well for 2 nights we stayed. The hotel staff said this is the best A/c brand and no other guests have complained. Not sure how its important what other guests felt and how do we know whether they really complained or not. The staff told us to keep our hand on the A/c. If they would have acknowledged the problem I would have given better rating. But only for poor attitude and refusing to accept facts, I am giving a low score.

The owner is a very pleasant young lady who goes out of her way to help you and make your stay comfortable. I felt very welcome. It is her family business, and other staff was very nice and helpful too. The breakfast had a large spread and a variety of foods and was very filling and tasty. There are a couple of grocery stores nearby, where you can buy food or everyday items. We stayed in a large apartment with a kitchen, so it was helpful.

The location is up on the hill, about 7-10 minutes walk to the beach. I didn't mind it, as I like to exercise and have no health issues, but it may be a limiting factor for people who have physical problems.
