The hotel was absolutely spotless. The room was very spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with clean, modern lines. It seemed recently renovated — we even had the impression we might be among the first guests. The location is excellent, serving as a perfect starting point for walks in the Old Town and very close to the lake. Some rooms offer a fantastic lake view, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Our room had a balcony and plenty of space, including a well-organized layout with dedicated areas for everything. The bathroom was exceptionally large, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained — even the slight scent of fresh paint added to the impression of a newly renovated space. A kettle for hot water, tea, and coffee were available.

Parking may be available, but it is limited and works on a first-come, first-served basis. Be careful with GPS directions, as they may lead you through the entire Old Town via very narrow streets crowded with tourists. A tip that the hotel does not proactively provide: once you arrive in Ohrid, it’s best to call them and ask about parking availability. If there are no spaces, they can guide you to a nearby parking facility with controlled access and a special rate for hotel guests. The system is quite complicated — likely due to municipal regulations, not just the hotel. There was no consistent hot water; it would stop and restart even during a shower. There was no heating, as the central system was turned off, and the room temperature was around 17°C. However, they did provide us with a portable heater upon request. Overall, the staff was helpful whenever we asked for assistance. However, these are things you wouldn’t know to ask about unless you experience them first, and they are not proactively communicated by the hotel.

We got two single bed and hotel put it together, however there’s only one small blanket which is smaller then the beds. Went downstairs to the reception desk but there’s no one after around 10 minutes wait. At the end I found the restaurant waiters they said they will come in 5 minutes, they said they need another 5 minutes after waiting, bring me a heater saying that we can use this, informed that we don’t want heater but blanket, they said we should have another one in the room, after allowed them to checked, they found out there’s none and said all rooms are with customers, so they can only give us bed sheet and there’s nothing else to do. The water in the room is also not hot enough although switched it to hottest side, really not the quality should be for a hotel. The front desk also inform breakfast at 8-10, when we go for breakfast they said no breakfast for all booking orders and said we need to pay, we understand and ordered then the guy came out again said you need to pay! The attitude was rude and I think this hotel is totally a mess!
