Hotel San Cristobal Adults 15+

The property is gorgeous. The location on the beach is amazing and sunsets were great. We went in January and watched whales from the pool all day long! The food was also amazing, everything they make was so flavorful and tasty and food prices weren't bad. They have hiking trails right off the property and offer multiple activities. I would recommend a car just to get out there and to and from Todos Santos, which is such a cute town and is very close by the hotel.

For this to be a 4 star hotel, everything should be pretty much perfect. I did not feel that it lived up to the 4 stars in either value or service. - Prior to arrival, I got no emails asking when I would be getting in, if I needed a taxi, or anything else. We got in around 7pm and we waited at reception for the receptionist to get off the phone for around 15 minutes without greeting us. Other staff was walking around and no one said anything. - The next day we spent all day at the pool. We ordered a lot of drinks with the full expectation of spending a lot of money, but when we got the tab multiple items we had never ordered were on it, also items we were told they didn't have and I had to order another drink we're also still on it, we reatedly got the wrong rooms tab, and when we ordered tequila and oj they put Don Julio 1942 at $42USD per shot in there when we asked for house. I've been a waiter, I know all about upcharching, but this was a surprise. - We had breakfast by the pool every morning. One morning they moved it to the garden and we sat out by the pool at our normal breakfast table for 20 minutes with staff walking all around and no one told us until I went and asked. You can have the most amazing beautiful property in the world, but service really makes it and I felt for the number of staff they had on hand, it was lacking. None of these were huge issues, but for the price and 4 stars we expected more.

The location, the food and staff were great. The farm to table restaurant out the back and the little coffee station was amazing.

It’s a beautiful hotel however it is expensive and for the price you pay you would expect something like a basic breakfast to be included.

Highly, highly highly recommend staying here! Hotel San Cristobal is AMAZING. By far one of the most amazing experiences. We stayed in an ocean-view room which was so relaxing. We woke up and went to sleep to the sounds of waves crashing onto the shore (the hotel is right on the beach). The rooms were extremely clean and well-kept. There wasn't a TV in our room which was great because it forced us to be out relaxing next to the pool with a drink in hand. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and fun. We got to know a few of them and had great conversations and tons of laughs. They were attentive throughout our entire stay making sure we had everything we needed. They were the best. Thank you to them for a memorable stay! The food was out of this world good. The hotel has three restaurants offering fresh, farm-to-table food. Try as much food there as you can. You will not be disappointed!
