location excellent right by the bikini beach with sun loungers and beach towels available. staff super helpful and rooms immaculate. Restaurant right by the beach and offered excellent excursions - recommend manta and snorkelling safari. We were first out for mantas and were rewarded by snorkelling with 3 before other boats arrived. on snorkelling safari - swam along some if not the best coral reefs in the Maldives. pristine!

Location- Just a few steps away from the beach. Had a half board which was sufficient enough. The ladies serving food were very polite and ensured the guest had everything they needed. Dinner (in case of full board also lunch) was chosen by guests from a long list of meals. Starter, main course and desert. It was approx 50 meals to choose from. Plenty of variety. In 10 days I had no same meal. Food was delicius and worth to try local dishes. Either restaurant or hotel staff can explain what is traditional and helps you to choose. The staff in hotel was friendly and helpfull. Especially Abaan, from reception, helped a lot. Advised on trips, gave tips and even organised it. All I needed to do is turn up. Thanks for amazing trip to an island. As per rooms- the rooms have fridge and a kettle with coffe available. Staff replaced drinking water each day and bottles of water was always available in the hallway. Hotel is located just a few steps away from the beach. Would highly recommend for its location and staff.

Rooms have no warderobes. For a family a bit ackward, for single traveler there is enough shelves to be used. Went at the end of rainy season and when raining at night it was a bit noisy as the room located above a restaurant's sheet metal roof. Only this room. And sometimes felt the dampness. Turned on AC and smell was gone...

Nala Veli is small hotel with great services and location - right next to beach. Room and bathroom is spacious (TV, AC, fridge, drinking water, free toiletries), AC isn't noisy. Wifi is fast. Food is nice, there is a breakfast bufet and for lunch/dinner you have to choose starter/main course/dessert from the menu ca 2 hrs prior. You can rent a snorkeling gear for 5 usd/stay and beach towels are available for free. Staff is attentive, they will arrange port pick up/drop off, speedboat transfer or trips, spa.. There is no problem with housekeeping and girls in the restaurant are always smiley. I've got a groundfloor room 108 right next to the reception in the lobby. Here are pros and cons you should consider before complaining! There is no window to the garden, but to the lobby and internal space with AC, so you won't be opening it. I couldn't find a drying rack for this room. Thru the day and in the morning before leaving for the trip guests tend to enjoy their time in lobby, right under your window so it maight be noisy.. but you can always tell them to get.. quiet :) HOWEVER.. it's quiet in the night and if you are super light sleeper, you have always sleepbuds on you anyway. You won't be disturbed by scooters or people walking and speaking under your window and laud birds singing won't be an issue. Wifi is fast. The temperature in room is perfect, I almost didn't use AC and I really didn't care about closed window, because I wouldn't opened it even in another room - remember, it's super hot outside. And there is no need to use stairs. So overall, I was happy with this room and didn't want to move to another room even thou that was the obtion.
