Infinity Diving Resort and Residences

The hotel is located in Dauin, a small town next to Dumaguette. It is very peaceful and you cannot hear any traffic. The resort itself is nicely spread out and very green. The rooms were very big and I loved that they had a hanging rack - very useful for drying all the diving and swimming gear! The diving centre was also excellent and I did many day trips through them. The dive masters were all very nice (big shout out to Roland)! The reception was very kind and went out of their way to help us. My hubby got very poorly and we wanted to see a doctor. Shang helped us call a taxi, found a doctor for us and even followed up with us during and after the visit. Unbelievable service!! The restaurant was cosy to sit at with a spectacular view over the ocean. Since it was quiet we were able to play lots of games at the table as well! They had excellent chicken burgers!! I have to be honest, I was scared to stay here at first as there were quite a few negative comments but we could not relate to them at all.. food was always nice! You just have to be open minded…. We even extended our stay from 4 to 6 nights spontaneously.

The only downside is that there were not many chairs around the pool area where you could sit. The bathroom also had poor drainage systems (minor).

I enjoyed my breakfast with turtles peeking up the water surface to get some air. The beach was rocky but enjoyed a good swim.

Service from the restaurant staff can be improved. Some orders were forgotten and needed to be followed up.

The staff is strick when it come to kids though when i book the kids policy says until 16 yrs old are welcome and 18 yrs old above are adults. so be aware of that. the breakfast buffet is amazing. the place is very clean and relaxing.

Poor breakfast quality.

The staff was extremely friendly and supporting. All our wishes have been taken care of. The room was very big - the only thing missing was more space to put your clothes. The restaurant has a beautiful terrace and in the evening the tables have also been placed in the garden below the trees with fairy lights. Pools have been clean and well taken care of. The "coral sea" dive shop on site has pretty new rental material, and the shop crew was exceptional.
