Unfortunately, my overall experience at this hotel was rather disappointing. When I arrived, there was nobody at the reception desk and no bell to call a staff member. There was only a sign in Polish asking guests to call a local phone number. However, international travelers do not always have the ability to make local calls. My eSIM only worked via the internet, so I was unable to reach the direct number. After a long journey and some waiting, I had to ask other guests to make the call for me. When the receptionist finally appeared, she seemed visibly irritated and remarked that she had only been away for five minutes. The room I was given differed from the one shown in the photos. It was considerably smaller than expected and had been specially equipped for guests with disabilities. I had not been informed of this in advance. Had I known, I would most likely have chosen a different accommodation. Because of the handrails and the overall layout, the room felt more like a hospital room than a regular hotel room. I found this psychologically uncomfortable and completely different from what I had expected. The windows faced an inner courtyard filled with air-conditioning units, and there was a persistent smell of fried food both in the corridor and inside the room. The air conditioning did not help solve the problem. Although Booking.com showed several rooms available at a significant discount, I was told that the hotel was fully booked and that the availability shown online was a Booking.com error. As a result, my request to move to another room in the same category was refused. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Overall, the room did not correspond to the photos or to my expectations, and the quality of service and attitude of the staff left an unpleasant impression. I would not choose this hotel again.
