Salema Beach Hotel

Wonderful location just off the beach and we enjoyed a nice view of the water from our balcony. The breakfast was very good with plenty of variety.

De locatie is perfect, rechtover het strand. Het ontbijt is uitstekend. Het personeel is steeds behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Wij kwamen dan ook voor de 6de keer terug.

Das Frühstück war gut. Das Hotel selbst ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber das muß ja nicht wirklich ein Nachteil sein.

Ich konnte mein Fahrrad nicht mit ins Hotel nehmen, letztlich musste ich es draussen an einen Fahrradständer anschliessen, der leicht hätte gestohlen werden können. Es scheint in Portugal vielleicht weniger Fahrraddiebe zu geben, aber das fand ich doch etwas enttäuschend.

Hotel is dated, cramped.

Right by the beach, good breakfast. The hotel is older but well maintained and clean. Mini market and all the restaurants are very close to it.

I stayed at the Mareta Beach Boutique Hotel in Sagres, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel has a very relaxed, stylish boutique vibe, simple, yet tastefully designed. One of the highlights is the stunning infinity pool with a million-dollar view over the ocean. What made it even better was that the pool is heated, which is especially important when traveling in April. The location is good, just a short and pleasant walk from Mareta Beach, Tonel Beach, and the iconic Cabo de São Vicente lighthouse. The whole area has a laid-back, slightly hippie atmosphere that makes it feel unique and authentic. Sagres Fortress is also nearby, where I was pleasantly surprised by a modern and beautifully designed museum. The museum shop was charming, and the views are absolutely breathtaking.
