Das Hotel hat sehr wohl seine Berechtigung an Ort und Stelle. Aber irgendwie ist es noch ein Stück entfernt von der Perfektion. Vieles ist im Werden ... und Ausblicke, Gemeinschafträume etc. haben Charme.

This place has a minimal retro feel. It feels like a rough diamond waiting to be polished! The views for all the communal rooms, bedroom and terraces are fantastic and largely helpbmake up for the failings. Our double room was a large spacious room with a high cork clad ceiling that we thought was pretty cool. Thrle bed was comfortable although lacking a headboard for some reason that we doubted was a style aesthetic! There was a cupboard with a kettle, cups (no spoons) & a small fridge. It was spotlessly clean and the bathroom, although dated, was in immaculate condition. We would have liked a main light though as the small window and mirror lights weren't quite enough at times. There is so much potential not yet realised here and I really hope the owner is up to the mammoth task!

Is it a Hotel? Guest house? Ensuite rooms with a keybox! It really wasn't clear. After the receptionist left there were no professional staff about to feel looked after as a guest, just 2 lads. There really was no sense of hospitality at all. The bedroom doors aren't fire doors and did little to block out any noise. You can hear people in other rooms when in the lounge area!! There was nowhere open to eat or drink on site or nearby as were all closed. Thankfully we had brought food as had been travelling round self-catering or else we'd have been in trouble. We had to laugh as wondered, "have we died"?!!! When sat in deafening silence in a 'The Shining' type venue minus the snow! It is a unique place and we were glad to only be staying one night!
