"Very nice stay in a cosy bamboo hut in paradise!"

9.0

Loved this place. The huts are very cosy. The balcony is the perfect place to chill. Palmtrees everywhere. The bed was lovely. The view very nice and the best places to have some dring and food just across the road. Hosts were very friendly helping you out and made sure you were ok! As a licensed dog behaviourist I want to assure that the dogs are NOT aggressive like some people write in their reviews. They don’t attack, they bark because they guard the place. That’s wat dogs do, it should give us some comfort. They are shy/untrusting towards strangers people and there is no way they are dangerous!

Something was broken but Tony did everything to fix it. There was some construction going on after the floods which was noisy. But that’s out of your power after the floods. Im glad they sort that out, they have to, its mother nature!

"It’s a peaceful and well-located bamboo hut with comfortable amenities, great hosts, and a natural atmosphere."

9.0

The huts were spacious and close to the main areas and beaches. The location was quiet, set off the main street, and surrounded by greenery, which provided a nice sense of privacy. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were much better than in most other places we stayed. One thing we really appreciated was the storage space, which is often overlooked in similar accommodations. Tony and Noi were very helpful and welcoming. The bamboo hut itself felt much more natural and comfortable compared to a typical concrete room. The fans were sufficient, and we didn’t even need them at night.

There wasn’t anything significant that we disliked.

"One of the worst stays of this experienced traveler."

1.0

Nothing.

The place is for those who can't afford anything else on this expensive Hinkong Beach. We arrived in a torrential downpour and couldn't find the place. No one was there to greet us. Even though we booked five nights, we only spent one sleepless night.

"Pretty huts but let in too much noise"

4.0

The bamboo huts were very pretty on the outside. The showers were very good and they provided water.

The hut was very dark inside, the lights were not very good. It was hard to even sort through your clothes to see, and found it quite depressing. It was very loud to stay in I could not sleep through the night, had to find accommodation elsewhere, if your ok with loud nature noises you might be ok. The other people staying played loud music in the late mornings and evenings by the pool and the noise was very loud inside the huts. There was no soap provided to wash your hands for the bathroom.

On arrival we were greeted with a huge smile from Noi and a very warm welcome. For the first 24 hrs I was a little uncertain if this was the place for us, these are exactly as stated in the description bamboo huts and you can hear every sound. We soon got used the peace and calming atmosphere. We loved the location the beach just across the road has 1 of the most stunning sunsets we have seen. This village is a labour of love which Tony has built himself. For a different experience from normal hotel try it. Do not be put off by reviews re dogs they are absolutely no trouble. Tony also allowed us to use his kyack, thank you loved it. Noi is such a special lady always making sure you are OK.

"Great!"

8.0

Seacroft is one of the few places left in the area that still has the old Phangan spirit. I stayed in the deluxe bungalow, which had an en suite bathroom and shower with great water pressure. The porch overlooking the little palm jungle was always great to come back to and there are plenty of restaurants in the area. The beach being 2 min away with the best sunset on the island is a big plus. Tony was super responsive with any questions I had.

If you’re looking for hotel quality rather than laid back hippie vibe, the place is not for you

The Location was next to a little Jungle, if u want to have little wildness experience it is perfect, and the near to the Beach is prefect only 1 minute walking and u have everthing i the near also to shop. And in the opposite of the Place u have many cool Beach Bars for food and drinks and to have a perfect view on a sunset. Tony was also an icon!
