Kalu mirissa

Nice big room with a good sized balcony. Nice and clean. Pool was a good bonus after a day on the beach. Good breakfast

I had a very short stay at Kalu (1 night) but it was a good one. The lady who works there was really lovely and friendly, made me a welcome drink on arrival. The pool is small but nice for a quick dip. the rooms are simple but spacious. Aircon was great! Location is also fab, a few mins walk to the beach and lots of restaurants close by, including the famous Shady Lane.

The bed was quite hard/very firm for my liking so if you like soft beds, this might not be the place for you. The shower pressure wasn’t great. The wooden cabinets in the bathroom were coming off and the wooden door to the room was very creaky/noisy when opening and shutting.

Spacious room, nice breakfast, walking distance to good restaurants and the beach

We can’t blame Kalu that the neighbours played really loud music at 6 am for two days, waking everyone up, but it was annoying 😏 A bar next to Kalu usually stops the music around 10pm.

Great quiet location, lovely pool, tea and coffee in the room, good shower, hairdryer & a comfy, clean bed

Sofa and chair were stained and looked grubby, also lots of dust in all the light fittings

The rooms were spacious and the air conditioning was lovely and cold. The staff were wonderful and so friendly.

Not really a criticism more a suggestion, would be nice to have somewhere better to hang clothes (literally nothing much but there was nowhere to hang dresses)

We were travel 12days around sri lanka and come to down south be relax so im so happy to choose kalu mirissa because its calm and quite place 5min by walk to beach super market n ATM ... host is super kind person manik she gave good tips around mirissa.. we did divine with her.. i miss kalu mirissa so much

Nice big rooms, clean, comfy beds and good a/c. Swimming pool was great and location perfect. The couple who own the hotel were very helpful.
