Hotel Boutique Can Cocal El Cuyo

The rooms are great, modern, cool and lovely. You do not want an ocean front room in el cuyo because the winds are so strong off the ocean. The restaurant has awesome food, we were happy to eat there every day

There is a design flaw with the shower which keeps overflowing. Cannot really have a shower longer than a few minutes. Staff did fix the worst problem at the start ( the shower overflowed so much it leaked all over the room) however the fault persisted albeit in a reduced fashion. We had to create a dam with a towel and have short showers. Fine for us because it was hot , however I can imagine it would be terribly annoying if you were cold and wanted a very hot long shower or if you didn’t notice the leak and it went into your suitcases. Also there was one staff member in the restaurant who was terrible. Kept getting orders wrong , serving us food we didn’t order then charging us for it. They have a paella night and we said we wanted to be there for it , came back early and sat in the restaurant in preparation. He told us to go to our room and come back at 8pm when it was ready. We came back at 8pm and he had sold our portions to visitors. There are only 6 rooms in the hotel- how he didn’t prioritise guests who indicated they wanted paella for 24 hours is very strange. Then he tried to get one portion to us by getting the chef to put more rice in what was left. The paella was the worst thing on the menu tbh

L'accueil est personnel et chaleureux. Le personnel est adorable, la situation parfaite à deux pas de la plage. Le restaurant est très bon. Le petit déjeuner varié et délicieux. Très bon café!

Being a vegan was one of the main reasons for booking Can Cocal El Cuyo. Their menu was great, lots of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Non vegans/vegetarians had lots of options too. The bar was well stocked too.

Our bed was on the soft side with 'sinkage' when sitting on them. Maybe they just need to rotate the mattress.

Beautiful room, incredible bed, plush grounds, gorgeous pool & amenities, great restaurant, excellent access to the beach.

Que lugar tan hermoso. Bien cuidado, lindo. El personal extraordinario. A 50 mts de la playa. El hotel lleno de detalles muy bonitos. Los cuartos Limpios, amplios, cómodos. Sencillos pero bonitos. Una estancia que voy a volver a repetir. Me encantó. En un lugar donde las calles aún son de arena. 😍😍😍

Estuvimos muy a gusto en Can Cocal. Sandra, la propietaria, tiene un conocimiento muy amplio de la zona y siempre estuvo atenta a nuestras necesidades, al igual que todo el personal, que nos hizo sentir como en casa. El hotel es precioso, decorado con mucho gusto y lleno de detalles que marcan la diferencia. La ubicación es perfecta, a solo unos minutos de una playa paradisíaca, ideal para quienes buscan tranquilidad y una experiencia más local, lejos de las multitudes. Además, el restaurante ofrece platos deliciosos que hicieron que nuestra estancia fuera aún más especial.
