Good location in the town. Interesting old building.

The staff behaved really strangely when we arrived - like we were an inconvenience - and it was not a friendly welcome at all. We stayed in the room at the back - it is very dark and feels kind of unloved. The bedding and towels smelt stale and like washing that has been left in the washing machine too long. There is also no WiFi available in the room. The advertised balcony and roof terrace is not private and pretty tiny. If you decide to stay there, ask for the room at the front.

Place is good for couple. It is in center of city. Very happening place

Parking nearby is only for owners.

Location is perfect, very central. Staff was very hospitable and friendly. The decor of the room is superb! We were on the top floor and although the live music in the bar was audible, it wasn't disturbing at all. Bed was comfy and a chaise longue present if you want to have a seat. We liked there was no television, it enhanced the feel of the room.

There were no soap amenities for the shower.

Good value for the money. The staff were friendly. Nice location at the waterfront.

It was very difficult to climb the 2 flights of extremely steep steps while carrying luggage, but to be fair, it was mentioned when booking. Also, it was advertised as having a balcony, but they don't tell you that it's shared with other guests and the staff use it as their smoking area. The balcony was small, cluttered, had lots of filled ashtrays, and seemed rickety and unsafe. You also have to leave your room to get to it. We did not feel comfortable going out there. There were people out front of the building who were yelling in the wee hours of the morning and it woke us up. No soundproofing in the windows.

The WORST hotel experience I have ever had in my entire life! I booked a stay for two nights and the wifi was not functioning already during the check-in day. After a thorough agreement with the managers, I got assured I would be reimbursed the second night as I left the hotel earlier. End of the story? They NEVER replied Booking and they NEVER reimbursed me! Please, STAY AWAY from them! You should be aware of how these scammers treat clients!

great location, Central area for coastal walks and town centre facilities. Close to bars and restaurants. Staff were very good and helpful.

stairs to our room were steep and not lit up very well by the lighting. No tread plates or clear defined edges to them, not easy to negotiate with luggage

Big room. Nicely decorated. Near the church

1) The room is upstairs from the pub- there is nothing blocking the sound. So don’t expect a quiet night sleep. It only stopped at 2am. There was also constant banging from the entrance door and you can hear staff and other customers clearly. Be lucky if you get to bed before 3am or even not be woken up. 2) Narrow stairs of doom leading up to the room. Not good if you have a suitcase 3) Toilet has the flush button on the side. It’s disgusting 4) Toilet seat isn’t fitted tightly. Nearly fell in a couple of time. 5) The bed has two single duvets - even though it’s a king size bed. 6) we got food at the bar - don’t bother - they forgot our order, whilst other people who came later got theirs. The steak was burnt and all the food came at once, rather than having a starter first. They did however give us complementary glass of wine and took 50% off the bill.
