Hotel ML

The location is perfect, it is right in the middle of the center, there are plenty of cafes, bakeries and restaurants around. There is an elevator in the building. Breakfast was nice with plenty of food, we even left some food as we were completely full. For the rooms you have the option to have it clean or not. Internet is strong. Though the air conditioner is centrally managed, so I was not able to reduce the temperature. I booked two rooms, one of them was on the back side of the building and it was perfect, cool nice temperature, I do not care about the view, since I prefer my room to be quiet. The room was spacious, with a big bathroom, a walk-in shower. My room had a beautiful lamp and had enough furniture, closet, chairs, tables, night tables. There is a safe, coffee and tea. The second room was facing the street from the side, it got warm during mornings/early mornings since the sunlight was direct onto the windows and I was not able to turn on the air conditioner since it seems to be centrally managed. The windows in this room had a second layer of glass: so there is the main window - the old one part of the building, and then a second layer of window which you can open, this prevents the noise from the street coming into your room. The room was spacious, with a walk-in shower, spacious bathroom, with a safe, coffee and tea. Same furniture as the other one.

The location is great

The rooms are dirty. We requested to be cleaned and still wasn’t cleaned. As an example, We used our glasses the first day and were never changed or replaced by new glasses in the 5 days we stayed. Even though it had an elevator, we needed to go up and down stairs to get to our room.

The location was excellent, convenient for the many cafes and restaurants in Haarlem and a short walk from the Railway station. Food in the hotel was excellent.

The delux room in the attic was perhaps a little basic with bare wood floor and no carpet or rugs on the cold floor. The sash window was broken, the ropes on the balance weights had frayed and cut and was heavy to open and had to be propped open with a piece of wood. Closing it was dangerous with the risk of guillotining my fingers. The hotel was in a pedestrian area which was great but for the fact that young E bike riders think it's a race track and ride very fast. I witnessed several collisions with pedestrians.

It’s central location

A little noisy, but it was King’s Day weekend

This is the second time I stayed here. The staff are so attentive - nothing is too much trouble for them. I suddenly became unwell and had to fly home early, which meant booking another flight, but unfortunately, I had left my Android tablet on the train before flying out. This meant the whole booking had to be made with the computer at the reception. The receptionist was very busy, as it was the peak time for evening meals at the hotel's restaurant, but she managed to get me a flight back. That is really excellent service. The Hotel ML is definitely a place where you're well looked after.

Great location. Easy access to everything. Breakfast was excellent . Michelin rated restaurant was marvellous!
