The Altin place seemed like a clean and friendly place, however we booked it during the wine festival in Comrat and they overbooked it. This has happened multiple times. The hotel seemed nice and clean, but we had to leave Comrat and go back to Chisinau because they had no beds or rooms available and were asking us to stay in the same room as other guests.

Room without window and little

We came in the middle of the night, they had a phone number to call to get in, so it went smooth. Room had no windows, but the AC worked fine and was silent. Bed was ok.

The decor in the bathroom was a bit old, and the toilet was dripping. But other than that it was OK.

Good location (but the town is anyway very small so you could walk to the centre almost from anywhere). The sheets on the bed were clean enough.

Terrible experience. Our room and bathroom had no windows at all. The bathroom also had no ventilation and the whole space was very small. As if this was not enough, the receptionist was mocking us for renting the cheapest room and said a few times that we can upgrade for additional money (of course when we were booking the room it was nowhere written that it is withouth windows). Besides, the hotel is very noisy, you can hear others talking, flushing the toilet etc. There is also an old refrigerator in the bedroom that makes noise all night. And the toilet is a bit broken so you could hear dropping of the water all the time. The bathroom was also not very clean. The atmosphere in the hotel is weird and unpleasant. In our two weeks long trip in Moldova this was definitely the most expensive and by far the worst stay. We really dont recommend it.

Slow and unprofessional service at the restaurant. The lights on the corridor don't switch off automatically and it shines through the door gaps into the room, I had to go outside and turn off the light twice during the night

Difficult to find. Beer can and wine bottle under wash basin. Light over mirror not working. Wall light flickered all night. Not good value for the price

Do not stay at this hotel. They will scam you. Worst service I have experienced my whole life. When I arrived late at night for check-in the front desk told me that the room I reserved (and called to confirm the day prior) was no longer available because it was given to another guest who check-in earlier with an unannounced addition to the reservation. I explained to the lady that we spoke on the phone yesterday and had an agreement. She then told me “it wasn’t her problem.” I was really dumbfounded by how bizarre the situation was. Any honest business should honor its reservations. When I told her that I would find an alternative place to stay she offered to reduce the price of the only available room which was nearly double the price of the one I had booked and confirmed the day prior. Due to the lack of options I accepted her offer but still ended up paying 25% more than what was promised. The next day after I checked out, the front desk manager called me back-to-back until I answered my phone and accused me of ruining a towel. It was really remarkably odd. I think she just wanted to yell and/or demand more money from me. I couldn’t tell if this establishment was highly incompetent or intentionally trying to scam money from foreigners with few alternatives.
