Hotellet ligger fint til ved en sjø, hvor det er en tursti rundt på ca 4 km. Det var kort vei til Gaustatoppen og Rjukan med severdigheter. Vi ble servert en delikat frokost med rikelig utvalg og en utsøkt 4 retters middag (eneste alternativ på hotellet). Alle var kjempehyggelige så vi ble godt ivaretatt. Det er et alternativt spisested rett ved siden av hotellet 11:00 - 18:00.
