Hotel Alexandra Loen

We very much enjoyed the location with easy access to magnificent nature. The spa treatment was excellent and the spa area super nice. The pool was great fun. Very friendly staff.

Les travaux bruyants durant les 3 jours de notre séjour (sans information), le toboggan pour enfant fermé sans raison apparente, le système d’éclairage de la chambre incompréhensible (nous avons dû appeler la réception à plusieurs reprises!), la qualité décevante du buffet du petit déjeuner par rapport au reste de l’hôtel (qui ne donne pas envie d’y manger le soir), l’information insuffisante sur les différentes restaurants de l’établissement, l’absence de porte entre la chambre enfants et la chambre parents dans la chambre familiale.

The meals are included in the room price. Because of the price I expected better food. The dinner buffet has a huge assortment of food, but I felt that the quality of some of the items was poor. However because of the large assortment, you should find something you like. Breakfast was disappointing. We came a few minutes after breakfast started and the bowl of herring was almost empty. I suspect they served the leftovers from yesterday to get rid of them. While we were eating breakfast it was not restocked. The scrambled eggs were hard and rubbery. I would rank our room and public areas as 5 star, but the food lowered my rating. We had a room on the 7th floor with a view which was very nice and with some nice modern touches and a large bathrrom.
