Hotel Elegant Kathmandu Inn- Heritage & Comfort Hotel

I had a really wonderful stay at the hotel elegant kathmandu inn. My room was so comfortable , clean and had everything I needed. The staff were so lovely, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was even included and there was so much variety, really impressive. Location was great, close to the main area but really quiet, i slept really well. I highly recommend a stay here and will be back myself when I return to Kathmandu.

Facilities ok. Staff (specially Mr Gurung in breakfast area) very helpful, professional and an excellent person. Location bit hard to find. Address wise they should give some nearby landmark.

Very nice hotel with good rooms, nice buffet for breakfast with fresh fruit and a lot of options to choose from, very friendly staff especially the manager, good location in Thamel, we enjoyed our stay and it was one of the best hotels we had in Nepal.

If I have the chance, I would stay at this hotel again. Most of the staff are very kind and genuinely care about their guests. Receptionist Binod is very nice always with a smile, and he even taught me to speak Nepali. On the first morning, I overslept, and to my surprise, the restaurant staff called to remind me about breakfast. Their warm and thoughtful attitude made me feel cared for, which is especially important when traveling alone. The breakfast menu changes daily, and I truly enjoyed having breakfast here. Every morning, I would order a cup of Masala Tea. When I returned to my room at night,I would always find two bottles of water placed at the door—a small but thoughtful detail in their service. The hotel has an elevator, making it a great choice for those who prefer not to carry their luggage up the stairs. The location is very convenient, surrounded by restaurants and small shops. There are also many stores selling hiking gear. The room was generally clean, and I slept well every night.

There was a slight odor in the bathroom, but I believe this is common in this area of Nepal. The hot water takes some time to heat up—I only realized this on my third night.
