It's cheap, staff is nice, walkable to city centre

The room was cold also the shower not very warm and there was bad smell both in room and shower. The breakfast is very bad, only one bread with cheese (no butter or anything)

"Excellent value for money."

I got a twin room with a private bathroom with breakfast included (a simple ham or cheese sandwich with tea) for the price of a dormitory bed at most places in Peru. The owners are also very friendly and helpful, they have a tour agency with the hostel that offers the lowest price I could find for tours in Puno. Would recommend!

The hostel seems a little old and have some old stains in the bathroom, but no big deal.

"If you have a little more budget, stay somewhere else"

Although the hostel is well located and staff was helpful, the room does not have heating system, which was very complicated during winter, and the bathroom was clearly not cleaned before I came in. I was not able to pay it by card as the manager claimed their machine was broken.
