Rimwang The River Life

Beautiful property with a river view and shared balcony. The property and the room were very well kept.

Unfortunately the meal service was unsatisfactory. On the first morning our breakfast was cold (like coming from the refrigerator) and the eggs were undercooked (the whites were not set). They were not edible. We asked the second day to ensure that they were fully cooked and they were only slightly better and refrigerator cold so again not edible. Our dinners and our breakfast were all about 20 minutes late after being pre-ordered so ensure that you allow for this if you’re on a schedule. Very unfortunate as we loved the room and location overall. Also, not sure why but our room was not made up after the first day and we ran out of toilet paper and the garbage was overflowing.

The location is superb with beatiful view on the river and mountains. Quiet, private and peaceful for a mid-week stay. We will come back again.

Location of the stay was perfect, easy to find by Google maps with sheltered parking onsite. We were met by staff who checked us in and showed us the room and arranged breakfast for the following day. Right on the river, the room had a balcony where you could sit and dip your feet into the cool water. In the early morning, there are fish swimming beside the balcony, and you can feed them with fish food provided. The room was clean, AC worked well, bathroom spotless, and a comfy bed. The room had a mini fridge, coffee, and water. Breakfast was tasty and hot, and we sat right by the river on our balcony whilst eating. Overall, we loved it. What a great stay.

I always like to present a balanced review, and if I am honest, the only small thing I can say is that since there are 4 rooms joined and the rooms share one long balcony, with only a privacy divider, so if you have loud talking guests with kids, as we did, that can spoil the vibe of the place or any romantic mood you try to set. So if that is the reason for your stay there, just keep it in mind.

American breakfast was OK but not great as they get made elsewhere and bring down to room, so a little bit cold. Rooms were great and comfortable with great facilities. Water pressure in shower a bit low but OK,

Lots of stairs to go up and down each time, nobody to help with bags to take to room but is OK, really needed our own car to get around more easily as this place is no where near facilities you can walk to.

Was the perfect place to relax for a few days

Beautiful location. Super helpful staff. Great service. They had a menu, so we could have moukata delivered to our balcony. Breakfast was served on our balcony too.

The place is perfect and the river rooms fantastic. Food is also very good and it's nice to eat it on the balcony near the river.

Difficult to talk to the management because they speak Thai but it's not a big thing, I managed in the end

The view on the river was amazing. The host said you can sometimes hear music from the facility across the river, but it was quiet when we stayed. Beds were comfortable, and the host was responsive and helpful.
