Thongchen Residence

The hotel staff are helpful and it's located next to street food and a great coffee shop. Good parking and a short walk to the city markets and the pier ferry for train to Maeklong

Very good cheap hotel, good location in the area of Mahachai. Near to many real Thai street food markets. Next to river restaurants. We bring the Customer to live in the hotel and will do again.

Nothing to complaint comapre the price, we not expect 5 star.

- The bed was soft - There is private parking

- The staff was unfriendly and not helpful - connecting to the internet was overly complicated. They also didn't tell us the password (which is normally your local phone number, but as foreigners we didn't have that) - we had to pay extra for an extra blanket. The blanket was way too small for two people (I am tall) - Even though you rent an apartment there as nothing in there; no water kettle or any plates or cutlery in the kitchen, nothing! Way overpriced for what you get

Clean, staff went out of their way to help. The owner was outstanding!

Samut Nakhon is an industrial area therefore we didn't have high expectations. No kettle, no coffee nor tea bags, no sugar, no cutlery, no dishes, only microwave. No toilet paper, could use the Kleenex in the room. No soap in bathroom, only shampoo + conditioner. No restaurants, only bakery at the corner. Internet difficult to connect, needed assistance from front desk.
