We arrived at 1pm. The room was ready but clerk demanded 100 peso for early check-in because it wasn't 2pm yet. He apologied and explained it was company policy. Now this is my fifth hotel in manila in as many weeks. I have never been asked for a fee for one hour before. I called every customer service number listed and all were not in service. I wrote a lengthy message to the Reddoor Facebook page with No response. You must pay cash in advance with no refund possible. Hmm ...you think they care about you!! Probably not. I booked a entire week here three days in advance with a message about 1pm arrival and please no road side room. You guessed it...roadside room..see picture from room window. We were able to change to a quieter room couple of days later. Hotel is located on the service roadside of the busiest highway in manila. No good restaurants or coffee shops in walking distance. No elevator/lift Room is tiny Local area is trashy and major smog from highway Overall hotel is OK because of the staff and clean Corporate culture is predatory
