Annex Hotel Tavern

I was skeptical to book this place at first because of the mixed reviews on Google, but I still went ahead cause I was checking in so late and I couldn’t really find a lot of options in surigao city. Checked in at 12 midnight and the receptionist was lovely. He was friendly and welcoming. The reception area smells so good too and then when I arrived in my room, everything was clean and everything was working except the wifi but since I have LTE, it wasn’t really an issue for me. I think the only downside that I wanna point out is the toilet doesn’t have a bidet. I wanted also to extend and they didn’t give me any problems with that. It was so easy to talk to the staff and yeah, the security and the cleaning staff were super friendly as well. bonus points, theres a really good café nearby called café ethereal. highly recommend this place if youre transiting through Surigao as its walking distance from the port. They have Smart TVs too!

No Bidet and wifi wasnt working.

Near the town proper

No mats in bathroom and at the door step and the gate. No microwave. Rough road. Stray dogs can go inside the property.

The towel was very old and the bathroom was dirty
