Serene Resort

Accommodation and pool area were very clean, the area was really quiet and WiFi worked fantastically. Location made the hotel really nice and quiet but was down a dark, narrow alley (there were street lights, which made us feel safe). And was also home to a number of cats whom we adored! Not many other bungalows, so felt like a community with other guests who we got to know well in our short stay.

No bar/restaurant area which became a problem when one of us fell ill as it was always a 5-10 minute walk to the nearest shop. Some rooms had a gap between the door and frame, we had concerns about mosquitos because of this but with effective bug spray we had no issues!

Backpackers who are allowed to play ball and make noise freely. There should be a clear rule and communication to not disturb others after 10 PM.

Everything. Especially the fact that it is good quality stay at a very honest price. Very serene indeed, and very cozy. The staff are absolutely lovely and helpful!

1. The noise of the school next door (the weekend we stayed was really noisy thanks to some sports event in the school, with a lady yelling away at the top of her lungs via a loudspeaker) 2. White backpacker lads smoking weed and making noise next to the swimming pool.
