GW guesthouse

Perfectly located in the city - easy to get to the party nightlife, or alternatively to the peace and quiet. Everything easily on hand - shopping, food, drink. Great access to the baht buses, too. Large sized room with a really comfortable bed. All my expectations of a small independent guesthouse were exceeded. Will be booking again.

Hard to think of any negatives. No downsides for me. It was what I hoped for. Didn't want a "corporate chain" room. Exactly as advertised with just the individual touches to make it perfect.

Where to start... Location. It's smack bang in the middle of anything you might be after. That ranges from the usual, being Pattaya, to shopping, beaches, eateries, the works. Garry is an exceptional host and always ready and willing to give you advice on where's good to go, or if you have any issues. The room was excellent. A good, firm, bed, nice bathroom and ac that saw me sleeping like a baby. Being on a busy Soi, many may be concerned about noise issues, there's a little background murmur till about three am, but nothing that ever stopped me dozing off after a busy day enjoying the local attractions. The price. Magnificent value for money.

My only nitpick and it really is minor is the stairs on the way in. Don't be put off by the sight of them when you first get there, you get used to them. After a couple of days I was up and down them no problem. Even helped with my cardio.

Friendly and helpful staff. In an interesting, lively spot with everything at hand. Food barbers enyertainment and massage just yards away.
