A warm welcome from the host who is running the place as a family business, very comfortable and clean room, all equipment necessary available, little attentions such as free coffee/sweets, and excellent breakfast. Highly recommended!

Fomos muito bem recebidos, com tudo pensado ao pormenor! Os proprietários foram extremamente simpáticos e acolhedores. A cama era super confortável, com lençóis de excelente qualidade, e o pequeno-almoço estava ótimo. Sentimo-nos mesmo em casa — recomendamos vivamente!

Pequeno almoço feito com carinho e empenho que fazia parar o tempo e assim ficarmos a saborear o sumo de laranja, as compotas, o café , os bolos, o envolvimento de todo um estar !!

Our trip to Portugal included a stay at Casa de Valcova. The owners Illidio and Asuncion have been the best hosts we have ever encountered in all our European trips. Their warmth and friendliness always made us feel at home. Their restoration of a 300 year old stone farm house was outstanding! The decor with antiques and modern facilities is a great combination. Breakfast with homemade marmalade and fresh baked pastries was delicious. We can't wait to go back!!!
