The staff were really lovely. We didn’t have time for breakfast as we were running late for appointments but it looked nice.

The loud music playing until after midnight in the house somewhere!

this is a renovated mansion with a swimming pool. it is in an excellent quiet location. staff was great, so was breakfast. rooms were comfortable, we almost had the whole house to ourselves.

There was hardly any restaurant open closeby, which is problem if you are just with bikes, like us.

Amazing house, amazing breakfast, Maria was also very accommodating and helpful.

Breakfast was excellent, and great to be on the balcony overlooking pool and sea. Room was very comfortable Pool good, with quiet area for lounging 5 minute walk to Aguda train station and 20 minutes from there into Porto, which is a wonderful city. And in a different direction - 5 minutes to the beachfront, the sea on the harbour wall is amazing

Booking.com was strange on this. We booked the room, then when we got the confirmation email it stated "do you want to upgrade to a room with ensuite. This threw us somewhat. So we cancelled the booking! I rang the hotel and they confirmed there is ensuite, so we booked again, confirmation email stated the same. But all the rooms are ensuite. I hope someone at booking.com reads this and sorts it!

The hotel is close to the beach but aguda beach is rocky and dirty. Parking is available on site but there is also plenty of space in the street.

The hotel is very close to the railway. You can hear trains all day and night. Our room (n°1) was noisy with lots of train passing to Porto. The pool was dirty, the water was trouble we didn't dare use it. No service at all, staff unavailable and not present at all. You are left alone once check in is done. Breakfast was poor, with cheap products. We didn't receive the food we asked at check in but totally different ones and we were not pleased. I am vegeterian and we received meat every day. Thiw hotel is Way too expensive for what you get.
