Superb views from restaurant and apartment (upgraded from double), lovely buffet breakfasts, warm and cosy style of hotel, soft beds, very helpful and friendly staff, lovely warm fire, very clean, variety of walks from the door (serious or gentle), cow bells tinkling, autumn coloured trees, the three deer that passed by and a red squirrel, superb firey sunsets and sunrises with early first snow on the tops, the quiet calm of it all .....

That we had to leave .... ! :(

Location is great. Staff is nice and polite. Food is ok.

Room looks old and so does the bathroom. The sink actually id drippimg for so long it removed the polish. Beds are very hard. Definitely not a 4* as promoted. Low value for money ratio.
