Hotel Sucidava

Great location on the Danube, supermarket just up the road, bike storage. Rooms good even if not shiny and new.

Not sure what the issue was, but staff very sullen and unwelcoming.

The view is nice.

Staff tell you one thing over the phone regarding rooms availability,, then claim it otherwise on site.

Location of the hotel is very nice on the Danube river. Saw a very nice sunrise over the water in the morning.

Breakfast taste good and they make it for you personally, no buffet.

It was right near our EV6 route. The town was nice once you go a couple of blocks north of the main highway through town. The hotel has a small garden area offering great sunsets over the Danube. The hotel.is basic, but perfectly adequate and clean. Bike stored area is good. Not sure if the restaurant is working, but there were numerpus restaurants in town.

The approach to the hotel is a bit alarming. The tarmac gives way to gravel as you near some big factory sort of thing, but have faith, once you round the final bend you'll be pleased with where you're staying!
