The location is near everything you need.

The manager booked a driver for 2 of us to go to the Seven Lakes. The car was old and the driver was obsessed with speeding and reckless driving. We were happy to be back unharmed.

Good location, just meters away from the bazar. They were very nice and helped me organize a trip to the 7 lakes. Breakfast is ok, room is large and comfortable.

Sehr freundlicher Inhaber, kann auch Touren zu den 7 lakes oder Taxitransfers in andere Städte vermitteln. Gutes Frühstück, sehr sauber, ruhig, obwohl optimal zentral gelegen. 100% empfehlenswert.

The location is perfect…you can walk to Ancient Penjakent, the market, the supermarket, and the History Museum. I was given an upgrade upon arrival and the room was HUGE with a balcony. I appreciated the little fridge to keep beverages cold. Breakfast was delicious (eggs, bread, fruit and pancake). Wifi, hot water and A/C all worked great. However, the absolute best thing about this hotel is Maksud, the host. He was beyond helpful…as seeing my transportation questions before arrival, organizing a shared group trip to Seven Lakes (definitely recommend) and coordinating my shared taxi to Khujand with pick up right at hotel. He is a kind man who truly cares that his guests are happy with the hotel and enjoy their stay in his city.

These are all minor issues. I did find the bed a little hard. Also, if you are a light sleeper like me, you might find the rooms facing the Main Street a little noisy. I would also recommend having a little kettle in each room for tea in the being.?

The hotel is perfectly located to walk around Panjakent. The room was enormous, way bigger than what we expected. It was also clean and comfortable. The hotel looks a bit old-fashioned, but for us that was a plus! The owner is very nice, as the rest of the staff. I'd stay there again.
